Javascript and jQuery are essentially the same thing. jQuery is a library of Javascript commands. AJAX is related to Javascript. JS uses AJAX to retrieve information from the server. These links will help explain in greater detail:

J query and java script are same as the java code used for specific purpose and Ajax in the other also a java based script used in web pages mostly where u have to refresh the specific parts of the page without reloading pages such as on Espn if you are watching cricket updates the score bar will refresh only not whole page.
